About the Founder

Hui-Tzu Chou, FNP
Founder of EverFamily Medical Care

Hui-Tzu Chou is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with over a decade of clinical experience in the greater New York area. Through years of primary care service, she has developed a profound belief that true healing requires more than just medical diagnosis—it demands a deep understanding of each patient’s unique life and family story. At EverFamily, she blends her clinical expertise with a "nursing-rooted" philosophy, delivering compassionate and holistic care.

Over the years, NP Chou has walked alongside her patients through life’s many seasons: watching children grow into adolescents, navigating rebellion or depression; sharing the joy of newborn babies; providing a steady hand through the pain of loss and isolation, and addressing the anxieties and challenges faced by the LGBTQ+ community. Every story shared has a place in her heart. Driven by a mission to provide culturally competent mental health care for the Chinese community, NP Chou returned to NYU in 2025 to pursue a sub-specialty in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). She believes that medical treatment reaches its full potential only when combined with the "heart of nursing.

The mission of EverFamily Medical Care is to integrate this profound respect for life into every medical intervention, providing care that truly understands the person behind the patient.

  • New York University (NYU): Advanced Certificate, Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) Scholar.

  • Binghamton University: Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).

  • Taipei Medical University: Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
